I'm continuing my re-watch of Mad Men, which is proving to be enlightening and it only makes me love the show even more. I'm all the way through season 4 now. Don Draper is consistently a badass and a raging asshole at the same time, and I fuckin' love it.

I liked it, a lot. It's very bleak, but the characters are interesting (especially this Wayne guy) and I got chills at several moments (particularly that last sequence) which is a good indicator. A-.

I agree with the grade. I found this episode to be quite compelling, especially Michonne's back story and Carl and Rick's dynamic. The dream sequence was neat as well. The "Rick being a zombie" bit was kind of one the nose, but whatever. A-

A bit of a messy episode, like you said, but I still found it enjoyable. The highlights for me were the scenes with Mara and Boyd (especially the tattoo scene) and any time Wynn Duffy was on the screen. I also enjoyed the Dewey Crowe stuff.
