I had no clue Netflix was releasing a Christmas special!? I have yet to watch it, but as for the show itself…it's pretty damn amazing. The first few episodes aren't the greatest, but it really picks up in the last half. It turned out to be a lot darker and more emotional than I expected, and by the end I felt it

Didn't do much this weekend. Went to a party with some friends, and just generally wallowed in "graduated from high school a few months ago still have no clue what I want to do with my life" blues. Also saw Whiplash. Extraordinary film in every way. J.K. Simmons deserves the Oscar nomination, and I'd daresay he

Interstellar. A+. Best film of the year. The flaws are there. I don't give a fuck. Many will spend their time after viewing this movie mining its every flaw and searching for plot holes. I don't give a fuck, this movie made me FEEL. Not just emotionally, but on every level. It's prime entertainment, where you stumble

I watched Django Unchained for like the millionth time, and repeatedly made plans to see Nightcrawler - but alas, life is a fickle bitch and sometimes it gets in the way. But mostly I frequented several parties this weekend and got piss drunk and had several rough mornings of self-loathing and "why did I do that?"

I'm continuing my re-watch of Mad Men, which is proving to be enlightening and it only makes me love the show even more. I'm all the way through season 4 now. Don Draper is consistently a badass and a raging asshole at the same time, and I fuckin' love it.

Just started my re-watch of this brilliant show. Started watching for the first time in 2012, and I've been hooked ever since. Haven't seen Season 7 yet, so I thought I'd just go through all of it one more time and then cap it off with the episodes I have yet to see. Then impatiently wait for the final season like

Fantastic finale, especially those last twenty minutes. I've loved this first season of the show, faults and all, and I'm ecstatic to see what's next. A fuckin' plus.

I've never seen one episode. Is now the time to make the plunge?

Such a great song. For anyone who watches Masters of Sex (so no one) , it was used there too.

The only time I laughed during this episode.

I liked it, a lot. It's very bleak, but the characters are interesting (especially this Wayne guy) and I got chills at several moments (particularly that last sequence) which is a good indicator. A-.

Of course I skimmed the article and failed to realize it was already there. Of fucking course. I'm an idiot haha.

The body of McConaughey is definitely from a still of Killing Them Softly with Brad Pitt, haha.

I agree with the grade. I found this episode to be quite compelling, especially Michonne's back story and Carl and Rick's dynamic. The dream sequence was neat as well. The "Rick being a zombie" bit was kind of one the nose, but whatever. A-

A bit of a messy episode, like you said, but I still found it enjoyable. The highlights for me were the scenes with Mara and Boyd (especially the tattoo scene) and any time Wynn Duffy was on the screen. I also enjoyed the Dewey Crowe stuff. The suffocation scene was really odd though, and I'm not sure how to feel

“Back then, the visions — most of the time I was convinced I’d lost it…there were other times, I thought I was mainlining the secret truth of the universe.”

"Start asking the right fucking questions." CHILLS.

Fantastic season. Easily my favorite new show of the year, besides maybe Orange is the New Black.

A. Perfect.

Fantastic episode. Everything came together perfectly. Deserves the A.
