PARTY IN THE U.S.A. BY MILEY CYRUS IN AND ENDLESS LOOP PLAYING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN

At first glance
I thought that was a still from "The Road."

"Some" would include some great shows, though. Seinfeld, Cheers and Larry Sanders immediately spring to mind, and I don't even watch that much TV.

Actually, he was up for the role BECAUSE of Mr. Peepers.

Against all odds, I'm actually enjoying the Daniel Johnston iphone game.

I was expecting Martin Lawrence.

Sheesh. He is 75, you know. I'd say he's holding it together pretty good.

One can almost forgive the wartime cartoons though, because we were, you know, in a really scary war.

It all looks great. But…
One minor suggestion, please for the love of all that is holy, sever all ties with the Godawful "Faster Times." What are you guys thinking associating with that pretentious pile of garbage?

That's a huge problem with SNL— the audience is mostly tourists. Subtlety and surreal humor doesn't play well with them. They like to see the skits they saw on TV before, and they like their jokes dumb and obvious.

Zoo Animals! Wheels!

I doubt they'll cancel 30 Rock this year.. the ratings aren't the best but DVD sales are good. It'll probably do great in syndication too, so they need enough episodes for that.

Sorry, but the correct Simpsons reference would have involved General Sherman.

Thing is, Morton Downey and Wally George were put-ons. The guests were mostly fake, and the shows were done with a wink to suggest "can you believe we're getting away with this shit?" Same for Spring, Bey, etc. They're like pro wrestling, all theatrics and spectacle.

How much for an oil paining of Waterson pissing on a Chevy logo?

I used to think Baby Boomers were the worst generation, what with their selling out their hippie peace-and-love ideals for yuppiedom and Thirtysomething, but we Gen-Xers and our navel gazing about our often much-delayed transitions from manchild to grown-up are far, far more annoying.

Comedy Death Ray is by far my favorite.

New Zealand is not Australia Junior. The correct thing to call it is "Australia's Canada."

Perhaps it's time to bring up the fact that sequels and remakes are nothing new, that they were churning out endless low-quality entries in movie franchises as far back as the 20s and they were remaking "classics" from the 30s and 40s as early as the 50s?

Anthony Michael Hall does make a good Rusty.
