I just watched the whole series again as a warm up and noticed a pretty severe decline from first season to last but even the worst (relatively) episodes of season 3 are better than most things that have been on since and still incredibly funny.  I reckon even pretty average Arrested Development is gonna be fucking…

I heard from a guy in a fantasy specialist bookshop that he didn't really keep comprehensive notes as he was writing and didn't really have a good idea of how it was all going to tie together in the finale.  Apparently he made a lot of it up as he went along an it kinda shows.
