Well, I don't mean that the in-show societies themselves are utopia (Lemongrab's North Korea, I'm looking at you) so much as the way that characters are portrayed on this show in general.
I absolutely love how all the most powerful folk in Adventure Time are cool women, heroes and villains alike. This show is a progressive utopia.

The two things that I learned about Martin's character in this miniseries:
1. He has mental problems.
2. He was less of a raging asshole when he had the love of a good woman.
