American Spirit Blues as well, really trying to quit though. Some personal stress and this thread is not helping though! Goddamn I wish some place around here was known for breaking up packs so I could just get a loosey. One would be enough right now.
What interest would they have? Uh…
Missed both those tours unfortunately. She'll be in Lawrence, KS on the 6th, hoping I can scrape together the money. Great, great talent here I think.
I'm originally from Ottumwa (and actually my mother was a good friend of Tom Arnold's grandmother) and the loose meat sandwich place on Roseanne is based upon http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…
They are greeeeeeeat. Always gotta get one when I go back there. And they are served on a regular bun, whataworkout, and yes, you…
I love Bill Watterson's work on C&H, it's a true touchstone for my youth. But yeah, that is some straight ahead, full-on bullshit. He apparently never read anything by Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman or any of the other big names you could throw out there.
Tiffany's continued presence this season is evidence that they don't secretly take past performance into account, I would say.
Mammals
Something died inside of me when the penguins were declared mammals by our stalwart TV friends.
Banksy is obviously the first real life stand alone complex! No original, only copies!
The Salute Your Shorts CTF episode was epic stuff. I bugged people for months afterward to do something similar.
Why not try…
The "NO COMEDY" Podcast
Not much to add except to say that Death and the Compass was already adapted by Alex Cox. Peter Boyle and Chris Eccelston are in it.
Too cheap for me I'm afraid. I think it's especially cruel to do to any of these guys, as they've felt the sting of defeat a time before. To fake you out on not making the grade a second time? Especially when they had all heard each other being praised so highly, it instantly means you got gigged for minor shit.
Just a quick reaction —
You didn't think it was possible they were all moving on? Gotta say, I thought it was telegraphed even before Antonia's mom opened her mouth. It was certainly a done deal after they praised each dish to the heavens. Agree however that it was a bullshit move. Someone should have went home.
Arty, there's no B&N in my town (except our university bookstore, but it's not a full bookstore) but there is a Borders. According to the documents at the linked article, ours is slated for the bin.
Well, I'm big enough to admit I might have overreacted to Isabella's comments. But the overreaction was sincere and only based on the words he said and the tone of voice used. But again, I do acknowledge that this is an edited show that like any other reality show might take things out of context to heighten drama.
Weirdo, I too think that's somewhat of a fair comment. There is a lot of so-called ironic racism that's thrown around with casual abandon on AVC threads, and certainly a picking-and-choosing from some quarters. But I can only speak for myself.
I wouldn't want to be called a monkey and I'm white. As forget_it_jake points out on the next thread down, its calling someone subhuman, which is deeply insulting no matter what race or ethnicity you are.
Show boot! It's Canadian-Sullivan for Shoe Bout.
Yeah, remarked at the time that there is really no use of that word (when directed towards another human being) at this point in time that at least doesn't have some racial undertones. Coupled with the "gay fondue" it doesn't show boot him well.
