Looks like this is the thread where it gets the most mentions, so I'd like to chime in on the Crystal Castles album. It is not my favorite of the year (gotta be boring and say Suburbs or MBDTF for that nod), but it's the one album I'd lobby to be added to the list.

Yee Yee, it's almost as if "Worst Persons" has an element of satire with its overblown organ music backing and focus on gaffes, and is not, in fact, telling you that Rush is worse than a guy who just got off the rape-train in a Congo village and is on his way to the machete pit to hack off a few limbs.
