I wish they'd make something
to remind me when to wipe. . .

Why did I get Married
Can't wait for the sequel. I've spent hours watching that film on Sunday mornings hungover. . . it's required viewing for the furs alone.
Penelope Cruz
I'd rather start my day staring at her.
Whoops
I just gooped all over my bibambop.
Hey, FJ, love the comments. . .good fun indeed! best part of the av club, other than the hater.

God damn Miracle Whip
When oh when will someone acknowledge the blight on society that is that stupid Miracle Whip commercial!?!?!
Eh, I've moved on. . .as Sprockets would say, "This conversation has grown tiresome."
eh, bite me. You all protest way too much.
well, previous comments don't really answer the question and/or the reasons are, well, not very good, e.g. that's the way it's always been, they're not lyrics, they're an instrument that becomes one. . .with. . .the. . .song (a la the chick from Spinal Tap). I won't belabor the point other than, to me, it distracts…
well, that's just it. . .I was liking the music of the Behemoth video (though the get-ups are a bit much) and then that singing starts and I immediately start laughing…same with with the Black Dahlia Murder song. . .it sounds ridiculous.
speaking of not being so mayo. . .
amelie, why haven't you written about the annoying miracle whip commercial located here: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
Thought
I agree, this column is great, but a possible suggestion: post the name of the movie two weeks prior to showing the clip (a la New Cult Classic). This way folks can see the movie and come with a bit more context.
Holy Christ
That's about all I can muster.
He keeps his underwear UP with a piece of elastic, not wrapped. But that's nit-picking.
It's one of those adaptations that somehow prove that its source material is unadaptable, if that makes any sense. —Nathan Rabin
Has anyone seen/heard about this?
Krasinski hasn't worn out his welcome (yet, to me) and this could be interesting.
great movie, but
if you're going to start with a bang, Goodfellas is the place to start. Extended scene: the last 15 minutes. Shorter scene: Joe Pesci's "do i make you laugh?" scene. Tracking shot: the Copa.
