That's the first time you've ever been an idiot.

It's not that its wrong, but I understand why some people bristle, because far too often it comes afterwards, in a completely judgmental, unhelpful way.

Liked for being true, not because of rape culture.

I think whether the discussion occurs before something happens, for starters. If I say to someone, that bar is pretty awful, maybe choose another place, I'm giving them a heads up. If they choose to go there and are assaulted, it's not okay for me to remind them that it wasn't the best idea. All that should come

There is lots of disagreement about this, but my two cents is that encouraging safety isn't wrong. Any suggestion 'that such-and-such wouldn't have happened if only…' is absolutely wrong.

There is a huge difference between victim blaming, and encouraging people to be safe. The last thing a victim needs to hear is how they could have done something differently that may have prevented a crime. You support them, and in the future encourage safe behavior* without reference to prior incidents, and without

See the post above. Juries have to assume innocence, the rest of the criminal justice system doesn't. Otherwise the police wouldn't pursue it if someone pointed to someone else and told them that they had just set a building on fire.

There are a couple of tunes on that album that drag for me. I realize that dragging is usually a good thing when Low is concerned, but…

There were a few moments when I was taken out of the experience by guys looking intently around a room, either because they thought they were discovering clues to a larger mystery, or the minutiae was more interesting

Sleep No More was amazing. One of my favorite experiences, period.

If I had a therapist, that's probably the kind of question they would be helping me answer.

Was that the stupid 'post pictures of your dog' day? Cause everyone I know was on someday this week to do that. It's was incredibly annoying.

A WHAS article? Who'd of thunk it!

Some vegans are okay with honey (like me), and some aren't. And none of the vegans I know are opposed to processed sugar.

I wasn't familiar with Three Men In A Boat, so I wasn't sure if it was real, or part of that fictional world. I may have to check it out.

I haven't read much recent King, but Mr. Mercedes was fun, and Finders Keepers (it's sequel) was also enjoyable, but not quite as good.

Apparently we're polar opposites. I enjoyed 11/22/63 quite a bit (despite it's plentiful flaws). I couldn't stand The Girl On The Train. Never cared for any of the characters, and I figured it out about 1/2 way through (and I'm pretty dimwitted, so that's saying something). Also, I thought The Corrections was far
