I hadn't heard of that. Interesting that they removed the hag but kept the fag. I used to be that, actually, until I transformed into a lesbian. Not saying that's your trajectory. I still enjoy (sometimes intensely) Gordon Merrick novels, though.

To me the episode struck the same note (at times) as the opening soap opera scene. So much of it seemed heightened and a little ridiculous, over the top. However, I have no idea why this should be.

For me it was 1969 in an issue of Us (magazine in book form).

How do you guys all seem to remember specific episodes by their titles??
