I concur with odduck, and I did watch and dislike Rubicon, the Killing, and the non-Brody/Carrie parts of Homeland. The British House of Cards is far superior to the American one, but the American one held my interest for the whole series.

I am indeed a woman who edits. I was curious because your posts are always interesting, and sometimes the content raises a question as to your human identity. I am unable to give examples, so you'll just have to take my word for it. Cheers!

cub, are you a boy or a girl? no reason, just curious.

My favorite show of all time. And I had hated all other "mob" shows.

No, you are not the only one. I posted this very thought a few days ago.

I immediately thought the "grandmother" was a burglar, but after she spun a little magic about having raised Sally's father, I thought the big reveal was going to be that she had raised the real Don Draper and that it would come out that "Don" wasn't who he said he was. I would have enjoyed seeing that played out…

Later, in a meeting, Joan was wearing a very green outfit that she definitely would have worn on St. Patrick's Day. For a moment I thought, "IS it SPD?"

THIS is what you object to?? How about YOU volunteer for 20 years of frequent violent penetration with a baseball bat?

Really? I've listened to him on radio (and now on podcast) for almost 20 years, and he seems like the least egotistical person ever (if anything, quite the opposite). I wonder if the commenters here know anything about him, or if they're just going along with the crowd because it's fun to snark.

I'm with you. He did Loveline for 15 years before he ever got paid. I've been re-listening to some early Lovelines when Adam first came on, and Drew sounds exactly the same as he does now—eager to help kids, at the forefront of medical science with his defense of the morning after pill. He's indefatigable. You can

spicoli323 (way up there) (why can't I reply to every comment?) Why was that funny?? I'm an idiot.

Thanks for this!

Thanks, UnderOurFeet! I didn't get that.

I love these fucking comments.

"It does strain credulity…."

excellent recap! (I meant R. Aching T.)

A few commenters have said they think Megan *wanted* Don to be angry about her love scene(s). In a typical sitcom, she would be shown as secretly pleased that he was "jealous," but it didn't seem to me that she was AT ALL happy about it. Otherwise, what was that sobbing about?

never mind!

The worst scenario is not the "dumb" person doing something, but infiltration by FBI provocateurs… as happened in the '60s.

Except for watching "Peggy" in a very un-Peggy-like role, I seem to be getting nothing out of this show. The first episode seemed promising, but I miss a lot of the dialogue and often don't know what's going on… and, most important, I don't care about any of the characters or where they're going to end up.
