Saw the pilot online - it's fine, light stuff, but strikingly generic. It will make you happy Mamie Gummer has a vehicle and sad that it's not a better one.

Also, he's one of the asshole kids from "The Art of Discourse," which makes me basically despise him on spec.

Also, I get that Daphne's great… but it is really hard for me to understand what possible non-creepy interest he could have in her. 14 years is a big age gap for people in their 50s - are we seriously expected to believe that a 30-year-old has something he can relate to a 16-year-old with as an equal?

The Melody thing really stuck out for me because that's something the show has done well in the past - not creating pointless drama by having characters keep a secret they would never, ever keep. This show has consistently subverted that trope to good effect on a couple of occasions - Bay finding the drugs in Emmett's…

I'd love to see the Bay-Daphne dynamic explored more. It's something that has a lot of dramatic potential. Hey, here's an idea - maybe you can wrap up the Daphne/Creep…

Yeah, I really can't keep track of the timing any more. It sure FELT like they were at the farm for about 18 months.

….must …kill… Lincoln. Sorry, what?
Do not even dare tempt them to watch Chicago Fire. Not even for Lauren German! ::grumbles::
Last Resort I've soured on a bit, but I still feel like could be a great show if it has time to find itself. Doesn't look like it's going to get it, but given the budget I'm hoping we're at least going to see all the produced episodes…
::waits for next line, prepared speech in hand::
Yeah, it's always struck me that most of the problems reddit has are just problems the Internet has writ small.
He was so busy swimming that he never learned how to read. It's a sad story, really.
