I can't speak about Eef's given name but "Clem Snide" (along with "Steely Dan" and some other band names I can't remember right now) are from William Burroughs's *Naked Lunch*. "Clem Snide" is a character name and "Steely Dan" is the name of a dildo.

I find this theory weirdly compelling. It's certainly the highest-production trash I watch regularly.
