All I want to know is, how did it get there in the first place? That to me is the juiciest part of the story that noone has answered.

A long time ago, Lucasarts games meant something fun. I remember the Doom inspired/rip-off 'Dark Forces,' as well as the 'Revel Assault' games back in the 90's.  I'm sure many of us all remember 'Shadows of the Empire.'

This film is an interesting one in Zemeckis' filmography. It marked his first break away from being under the umbrella of Steven Spielberg and his Amblin Entertainment logo following his success with 'Back to the Future.'
