Hey! I vaguely remember that WB lineup. That guy who goes back to the '80s show competed with a guy who goes back to the '80s show on ABC that debuted at the same time. Surprisingly, the WB one lasted longer by three or four episodes! It was too cutesy x10 but I enjoyed it. Granted, I was 13 at the time…

Andy Roddick and Jeff Gordon were pretty terrible too. Don't forget Bobby D being an inexplicably bad, two time SNL host. Boy, the early-mid '00s were a rough time in SNL history.

I think he died in time to be mentioned in last week's Funeral Friday.

Hey, somebody else has seen Tribute besides me? I loved the psycho KISS tribute band. Don't forget that the original Gene in that group went nutso over the course of the doc and started to think he WAS the KISS Demon and burns down his own house. Somehow, I totally forgot about the Queen fan until you mentioned him. I

Chalk me up as a member of the "I liked Robocop 2 better than Robocop more as a dumb 12 year old" crowd. It seemed to eliminate any of the subtlety from the first one but it's definitely got its share of moments. The less said 3 (or the Sci-Fi mini series…or the syndicated TV series) the better.

Traylor Howard was the girl. She was Norm MacDonald's love interest in Dirty Work, too! She's on Monk now I think. I watched the show regularly for the first season or two and can remember absolutely nothing about it other than young Ryan Reynolds smarming it up and Kelly Kapowski showing up for some episodes.

I think Nabin could easily do a Hulk Hogan month at MYOF. Suburban Commando might even be better than No Holds Barred! My friend met The Hulkster at a TGI Friday's in St. Louis (of all places) and asked him about this movie and The Hulkster said Christopher Lloyd smoked weed in his trailer for the majority of the

Was Larger Than Life the Bill Murray-elephant movie? I'd say it just barely qualifies to be a Secret Success but I haven't seen it in a decade so it could be worse than Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties for all I know.

Or the scene where Hulk thwarts a stickup at a diner by throwing pies at the gunmen.

Rabin
if I let you borrow my VHS of No Holds Barred then you might review it? The world needs to rediscover the cinematic oeuvre of The Hulkster!

Has there ever been a show where the fans have gotten more vitriolic about it jumping the shark than The Simpsons? There have been entire seasons worths of shitty fucking episodes for certain but a lot of great shows have jumped the sharks in incredibly heinous manner

Rejumping the shark
Am I the only who thinks The Simpsons have kind of rejumped the shark in the past five years or so? It's not the greatest sitcom of all time contender that it was from Season 3 through 8 but it's not the insufferable shit of Seasons 10 through 15 other. It hasn't been appointment television for

I was a huge huge HUGE fan of The Planet of The Apes film series as a third and fourth grader. Here's my assessment of the films.

Another one
I'm an unabashed fan of songs where the narrator is a wise, older person dispensing advice to some upstart kid. Even the shitty ones, I can even tolerate "When The Children Cry".

Mildly related note; I bought the TV movie adaptation of "A Hero Ain't Nothin' But A Sandwich" on DVD for like $5 at a Rite Aid as a gag birthday gift (solely on the basis of the tile). Holyfucking shit were '70s TV movies creepy.

Am I the only one who likes Help! nearly as much as A Hard Day's Night? The James Bond parodies and Ringo being the focus of attention make it a winner to me.
