Damn, this is a spot-on review. The old showrunners saw Dexter for the evil that he was, and I swear they used to say that the show would end with Dexter dead or being punished for his crimes. These new writers don't get it at all, and I'm sure they're going to let Dexter either escape justice or nobly sacrifice

This was a really funny episode, but you're completely right about the plot problems.

Dude. Not cool.

Jesse doesn't look like I pictured him in my head. In my head, he looks like Generic '50s Poster Guy.

And it's gone

The laugh-track gag on the Scooby Doo parody got old fast. But then it worked real well right at the end:

I don't think I've ever seen anything as dated as the Jar Jar Binks Rolling Stone. Articles include: Columbine: Whose fault is it? By Marilyn Manson; a feature on Kosovo; and an interview with Geri Halliwell.

Definitely the funniest joke of the episode.

Pretty harsh. The Dundies was one of the best episodes The Office ever did.

Ehhhh, it's only slightly behind Mad Men in the key demo. Overall it does 2/3 Mad Men's numbers. It does 2/3 of what Family Guy reruns on Adult Swim do by both measures.

The Monarch is still killing cabbies rather than pay them.

This season was great. Van Der Werf will be pretending he gave this an A in 10 years or so when its recognized as a seminal work.

The Jewish magician cutaway was atrocious, but the Sugar Smacks frog one took soooo much setup for such a shitty, shitty joke that I think it might have been worse.

Yeah, she bumbled around so much on her way to KILLING THREE KINGS WITH MAGIC FROM AFAR. So incompetent.

One of our friend's just got shit-canned for helping your wife, but sure have all this footage for your own personal use.

Newhart was great. I haven't seen much of his work, but this episode really made me want to watch his sitcoms.

I hope it's an hour long, because Hardwick needs to spend the first 10 minutes of every interview sucking the guest's ass.

Oof. Don't need a plot summary; I just watched the episode.

Donald Glover sounded really auto-tuned. I imagine everyone got a bit of help that way, but he got it the most.

It's a great touch. They even animated Brendon's eyes darting around in all kinds of crazy directions like Lindenson's do.
