I really disagree with the online sentiment that this was a weak season! After flop season 7 and uncompetitive season 8, I thought this was a return to form.

I had never bothered to see Freddy vs. Jason, but I had always assumed Kelly Rowland WAS the final girl. She definitely was the biggest name in the cast (Monica Keena is awesome though!) and she promoted the movie a ton, if I recall. Yes! "Boys" is a fantastic movie, the best coming-of-age gay movie I've seen. I saw it, "The Way He Looks", "Test" and "Eastern Boys" at the same Queer Film Festival and all were fantastic. It has been an exceptional year for queer cinema.
