I've always considered them to be separate and distinct seasons. There's the year long gap that separated the two when the show was on the air, and part 2 has much different tone (apocalyptic) and pace than part 1.

I'd say that The Sopranos qualifies for this topic. Season 6 part 1 was painfully slow and uneventful aside from the first 3 episodes and the Johnny Sacks wedding episode. I know that the "Vito is gay" storyline gets harped on a lot, but it really was one of the weaker storylines of the show. I imagine that most fans…
The title reminds of "Rambo: First Blood Part II." How can it be the first shedding of blood when it already happened in the previous movie?
Oh no! Where else will I be able to see boobs at this hour? I don't think Blockbuster is open this late!
Pretty bold and unique for them to kill Arlo off like that. Most shows wouldn't have the balls to kill a major supporting character off-screen, and have his failing-health/death not be the focus of the episode.
Outside of the somewhat amusing goat scene and the use of the "fed to pigs" trope, I'm not fond of this episode at all. The corny puns are cute the first time, but are never actually funny. Farmer Brown kinda sucks as a villain and the whole episode feels like one of the lamer Superman TAS outings that was messily…
Winning the prestigious "TV Club Power Rankings" should finally knock Rick out of his emo-funk.
What's the most dispiriting and negative "Best Picture" winner? No Country For Old Men?
The Batman vs Bane fight in this episode was better than both of their fights in Dark Knight Rises.

I wonder if Robert Greenblatt regrets his decision to move from Showtime to NBC. Do truckloads of money offset the stress and pain he experiences when his shows inevitably bomb?
Am I the only one who has a boner right now?
Robert Greenblatt is going to be hitting the bottle tonight.
During the tunnel chase scene, the chicken truck batman crashes into is labeled "Farmer Brown". Nice little foreshadow for Critters.
Two murders, two rings. I'm happy that the Patriots-vanquishers won. The Ravens can be a nasty team when Flacco is on his game, and the Niners played like garbage in the 1st half.
I've encountered this problem when trying to convince people to watch The Shield. "7 seasons of a cop drama?! That's way too much for me to watch!"
South Park deserves to be on the list just for the ridiculously vulgar lines they secretly give to Kenny in the various seasons.
Sad to see Burt Reynolds career at such a lowpoint. Why didn't his career really advance at all following Boogie Nights? I know he's been financially irresponsible for the past two decades, but that hasn't stopped plenty of other celebrities from being at least semi-relevant.
No idea who these guys are, I was hoping to read a story about a band visiting the Moonlite BunnyRanch brothel featured on HBO's "Cathouse" series.
