at the time of Spartacus most of the best roman soldiers were fighting wars abroad in Modern Day Spain and Greece/Turkey…when the slaves rebelled, the Romans thought that they would be able to quell it with what is basically their version of a police force…Gladiators trained in combat showed them the error..even

I noticed it straight away when they crucified Agron but didn't quibble about it too much as I thought they were going for the "Norm" of method that most people expected it to be done but when they did it through the wrist to Gannicus then I wondered why they did it both ways…guess it may get answered by someone when

yeah another bittersweet moment in the show,these small nuances are what make it a great tv show..I noticed it at the time and thought maybe just maybe he might make it back there

pity the men who have to form a relationship with Laeta or Sibyl in the future…like they had Spartacus and Gannicus as their previous lovers…who can compete with their memories lol
