Inception owns
Nolan created a brilliant moving picture with astounding images and acrobatic beauty, but does the film fail on a human level?

Like few other shows on television, Community just makes me happy. It's so much fun to watch.

I'm not a Pitchfork disciple, but that was the same year as Dear Science and the first Vampire Weekend album. Those albums were streets ahead of Volume One.

The transition from the Track 1 a capella singing of "Run, Devil Run" to Track 2 guitar lick on "The Big Guns" is electrifying. Others:

How is presenting their content through Netflix…
any different than their channels being presented alongside others on satellite and cable?

She in turn lets me escape to the movies a lot, although I usually get all the kids in bed—brush teeth, read stories—before I leave. The first month or two of those

The action is much easier to follow than either Transfomers film and that's a big positive in my book. Shyamalan films the action in wide shots that show you all the participants. Rather than cutting from one clashing sword to another he moves the camera around the battleground to give the impression of one unbroken

Not so bad
Saw it in 2D, but the movie is not nearly as bad as reported. Kids are gonna enjoy it. The storytelling is rushed, the exposition clumsy, there are some odd directorial choices—big surprise—and Shyamalan, like Lucas, is not an asset to actors.

It's not so bad it's good. It's so bad it's fascinating.

The Happening
Anyone else realize how horrible and odd The Happening was, but still enjoy the experience of watching it?
