"I think Luke Evans has been cast in a lot of straight roles in major movies, and he's been out for years."

I dunno, with the modern preponderance of Stay In Your Lane when it comes to storytelling I can see why straight writers don't want to write LGBT characters for fear of reprisal.

Actors play pretend. Hence why it's acting.

I do find it weird that S2 changed her from a fairly even split interest in men and women to like 90/10 in the lady direction. Feels like the writers lost a character memo or two.

Charming. Lemme guess, GO MAKE YOUR OWN MOVIES LETS PRETEND THAT MEANS ANYTHING ETC

As someone who just started finished S1, Coop seems like the coolest guy on Earth. His friendship with Truman is delightful.

Bisexuality barely exists on TV, dude. Goes triple for bisexual men.

Not in the movies, no. But the TV shows have a smattering of them.

I'm sure the Steven Universe fanartist who was bullied into a suicide attempt or the multiple artists who were doxxed for being insufficiently "woke" will be glad to hear that.

Nothing, but you're pretending that the more extreme aspects of the left who do want to seemingly turn the entire Internet or real world into a safe space and those who disagree should be screamed at or harassed for not agreeing with them don't exist.

The only things I remember about War Inc are FIGHT ME LIKE A DUDE and some surprisingly good hand-to-hand combat with Cusack at the end.

Carol felt more like a delightful night at a theme restaurant then an actual movie. It's all texture and no feeling.

Enemy at the Gates is a great thriller until people start talking. Great set-pieces, terrible screenplay.

The Musketeer is one of the most disappointing films I've ever seen. Wuxia action mixed with European swashbuckling? How could this not be the height of cinema?!

Oh yeah, Kiss isn't for everyone.

I liked Charlize but she got some particularly terrible dialogue in that movie.

The only good part of F8 was the Statham/Rock bits, so hopefully that spinoff will be worth it.

Outside of the novelty of Owen Wilson starring in an action film, is there anything worth mentioning?

Swordfish is a crime against cinema and Skip Woods must be stopped.

I can see that, but action movies are rarely that mean outside of brutal Korean shit. It was a neat novelty.
