No Mask of Zorro? For SHAME.
No Mask of Zorro? For SHAME.
Punisher War Zone starts with a fucking heater of a sequence.
Hard Rain is a pretty underrated little thriller. You can definitely feel the Graham Yost style in that script, the cast is stacked with talent, solid direction, etc.
Knowing was Dark City on bath salts, it was as depressing to watch as the Prequel Trilogy in relation to a great voice losing his ever-loving mind.
Wes Studi as the evil version of Hicks from Aliens was great.
I have no idea what Parker Posey thought she was doing in that movie. Her performance is kind of amazing, doubly so since her major screen partner is fucking Triple H.
Rush Hour II is one of those movies I saw 400 times as a kid(it's just one of those movies that got into the house and never left) so I can't hate it entirely.
The 6th Day is the right kind of bad Arnie. Quotable dialogue(EATING MY BIRTHDAY CAKE), memorably weird villains(Michael Rooker is off the chain in that film), ridiculous action sequences and slick direction.
Passenger 57, the movie that said "What if the third act of this plane heist movie…was in a carnival?"
Is this the "Let off some steam, Bennett." of the 90's?
Literally the only year you could put Bokeem Woodbine and Antonio Sabato Jr on a poster for a major motion picture.
I just re-watched it for the thousandth time about a week ago, and the only real complaint I could lay on its feet is the first act is a little baggy. Little too much set-up for the main plot, though I appreciate that it's a thriller that actually gives a shit about the story it's telling.
"m not even sure I could pinpoint exactly when I turned on him, to be honest."
Too busy busting ghosts in Georgia.
The upside-down shot of Crudup talking to him is framed exactly like Robert Prosky giving his big villain monologue in THIEF.
A visual reference to THIEF, of all things.
I preferred MoS to BvS.
Nah man, Michelle Monaghan blowing him and his goons away at the very end while protecting Ethan is one of the best parts.
I think Snyder made a fairly interesting, unique movie that's a fucking awful adaptation of the comic and is the text that shows all of his failures as a director.
Don't you mean Avatar 2-7?
