Is the Ti West thing finally over? Can this end it? Please?

But there's been a steady stream of decent Westerns coming out the past few years, both classic and "modernized."
The critical reception to this has been insane. I pretty much need to see this on the word-of-mouth alone.
I was talking about recent stuff, but yeah I love Way of the Gun.
Nope, MacQuarrie has said he got offered the chance to work on Rogue One but the clean-up job went to Tony Gilroy instead.
MacQuarrie rewrote Edge of Tomorrow, wrote/directed Mission Impossible Rogue Nation and is doing the sequel.
Yeah, all five minutes of him.
I don't see the problem with wish-fulfilment action heroes though. Reacher was an exaggerated cartoon hero, but the villains were Jai Courtney in mirrored shades and Warner Herzog as a crime lord who forced people to chew their own fingers off, it wasn't exactly a realistic world. And at least MacQuarrie found the…
I still give credit to Jai Courtney for actually trying in A Good Day To Die Hard. Ina film where Willis was out to lunch of Sebastian Koch looked like he wanted to take a nap in every scene, Courtney showed up and did the work.

That first Jack Reacher movie is one of the most underrated action movies of the past decade, I was really looking forward to this one. I guess this is what happens when you lose Christopher MacQuarrie.
I kinda liked her in the first one. I'm not going to argue it was a great role or anything, but she played "partner" well and they never actually had her and Reacher hook up.

He's going to star in a John Rain TV show reasonably soon.
" If Lucy's fiancee changed from week-to-week, or if employees at Mason's facility changed as the timeline was altered, it would make the show feel much less procedural."
Especially with the huge quality leap Season 2 has had. It's a shame so much of Season 1 was so messy now that we have something I can actually call a good TV show.
Abduction killed his chance of having a real action movie career.
That was the old Max Steel. They rebooted it a couple years ago into Diet Ben 10 meets Diet Iron Man with all of the extreme sports stuff stripped out.
One of the nastiest, ugliest comedy films I've ever seen. FYC showed me that Guest either has nothing left to say or what he does holds no interest to me.
I'm still going to see this. I enjoy weird high-concept thrillers and this is right up my alley.
