I just see that kind of self-censorship pushed a lot in left-leaning circles a lot and it makes my blood boil. It's shaming people with a different label on the can.

I might agree, but isn't the Latino cast or Orange reasonably large and with a decent chunk of the storytelling devoted to it?
But sharing your opinion for discourse is not the same as saying "white is right." It all comes down to the wording and the actual statements themselves.
Using recent real-world iconography to prop up your storytelling is just tasteless in general. It's a cheap shortcut to make your story have more current "impact" instead of building the drama naturally.
"However, I agree with you that the lack of color in the writer's room is
problematic when you're trying to write stories that revolve around
people of color."
"And as a white woman, I'm not even sure if I should have an opinion."
Oh I've seen it, it's truly excellent.
He just sounds like Michael Wincott to me, that rasp is international.
Totally acceptable.
Scott Eastwood seems alright.
All of that was confirmed on the Die Hard 3 commentary. Hensleigh has a good laugh about the whole thing.
Yeah the trailer basically put all the action the film had in, as per usual.
Die Hard With A Vengeance is at least as good as the original, and might even qualify as better if it kept the original ending instead of the crappy helicopter fight finale.
The score is very…80's for a period piece. Take that for what you will.
It's way too long but still kind of entertaining. Rickman and Wincott are both fantastically fun at least, as befitting the Saturday Morning Cartoon villains they play.
Remember Christian Slater's """"""""""""accent"""""""""""" in that movie?
Worked for the first Iron Man!
"Bu-but you're blick!"
"He is!"
*beat, turn*
"You are."
As it turns out, remaking obscure BBC mini-series isn't exactly a huge bankroll for Warner.
