I have been an observer of Detox in the SoCal scene over the past decade, and let's just say she's not the warmest personality in the world.  At least up until a few years ago, you could expect daggers if you dared  to approach her.

My stepsister has been reluctant to watch "Girls", and I finally made her watch her first episode tonight. She did not laugh once, was visibly agitated after it ended, and could not figure out who the series protagonist was supposed to be. So, not the best episode to convert the unconverted.

Just a few more off the top of my head: Leigh Bowery, Bette Davis, Goldie Hawn, Sally Field, Faye Dunaway, Pam Grier, Jackie O, Pepper Labeija, Lady Miss Kier… I could go on all day

This episode loses a letter grade for skimping on the runway, specifically, Ru's puns/comments. Alyssa is growing on me, and I don't know how I feel about that. That Soul Train challenge was pretty dreadful. Next week, Little Edie for the win. That is all.

Not to throw too much shade… but really? Gene Harlot?  Do we not know who Jean Harlow is?
