After being able to bear most of the half-hour Talking Deads, I now fast forward through the hour-long episodes, stopping only for the Fresh Buzz stuff and next episode previews.
He should try the beam rifle. Better aim assist.
I'm starting to question his ability to govern.

"I won’t go in for these modern-day folk who wear leg warmers on but one leg."
I think Todd raised a perfectly valid point for discussion, but one that would be more at home in an actually episode review as opposed to lengthy article we got here. On the other hand, they do have to fill the site with articles, people.
Or just, "Ann Perkins!"
Rob Lowe is untouchable, bitch!
They run for president, somehow get believers to donate $6 million, and seemingly spend it all on musical rights to a DMX song to go with a cheesy internet campaign ad.
Yeah, the sprawl dude!
Double up, uhn uhn!
I'd definitely say it was comparable, although one-sided (for obvious reasons) where Jackal is split pretty evenly between good guy and bad guy.
"Again, not to disparage someone clearly so beloved, but a documentary
invested in more than hagiography would not relegate this aspect of
Valvano’s career to a mere footnote."

The shark joke always kills me.
That joke was already done much more succinctly earlier in the episode when Winger handed Shirley, and not Britta, the camera. So we already got the joke, and now we're seeing it again in long form, with no extra point made aside from servicing the plot in an obvious way by having the camera left on the counter.
I'm sure you're right. I just thought the writers glossed over this issue.
Maybe, but there should have been at least a little bit of dialogue dealing with Ann's expectations at some point. I, like the OP, thought we were headed for Chris wanting to be involved in raising the kid, and for Ann to not want him to.
What was that scene with Britta and Shirley at the sandwich shop halfway through? Was that supposed to be funny? Was there something there besides setting up the plot point that there was a functioning camera left on the counter? Man that felt sloppy.
