ROBOT WARNING
ROBOT WARNING
It's not a half hour of torture anymore, like the OP said it IS a pretty comfortable family comedy, but this is the perfect comment on why the show fails with its audience. It's just not funny, and the jokes are strained.
Normally I'd agree with you and such (but also not say anything in fear of being called sexist) but she DID recently have a child, and she's a middle-aged woman. She's still a beautiful woman, but just getting older. It's natural.
“I think it's just a dynamic change to the show, which could be a good thing, actually. Add some new life and some new energy…I see it as a positive in general for the show.” The fool!
Whenever the Community reviews are posted like 10 minutes after the episode aired in the East Coast, I ignore the fact that Todd has screeners and like to pretend that he typed this all within 10 minutes. But, being the Todd that he is, he's just such a great writer that it's a breeze for him to do this (as well as…
@avclub-178874fad561e353c21ccdafe08915ca:disqus and @avclub-534b36b22aab256cdb15c38b66ea1a74:disqus I'll never for the life of me understand how, despite the fact that so many people complain that the Office is no longer realistic, people STILL get worked up about Pam no longer looking attractive. She's like 40 or…
Although I was getting tired of your lack of interest in this show, I think it's very mature for you to be fully aware of what your commenters are saying, and reacting accordingly. Thank you, Nathan, and good luck around the Club. Good job with the many years of reviews, they were great.
I have 310. Thank you for validating my entire existence, Mr. Xix'!
Yup, I decided to start watching the first episode like 15 minutes ago. I'm already hooked. Damned Cranston and his infinite charm!
Breaking news, Breaking Bad is Breaking Good!
I've never actually seen this show.
This review made me groan so much. I get that it's a broken record type thing to say at this point, but NO, 30 ROCK IS NOT AN EMOTIONALLY RESONANT SHOW. Is that so bad? Both styles have their pros and cons, why does every show on existence HAVE to make us root for their computer-manufactured fictional characters.
Holy shit, I think that'd be great (but only for an episode to wrap this up probably): him hating himself, calling himself insults, and Kyle just annoyed and bored. I just like the idea, but this being South Park, they're most likely gonna ignore this, so oh well.
So who thinks that Cartman's gonna be magically anti-Semetic again whenever the plot demands him to be? I'd rather have him stay Jewish, at least for a few episodes or even just one, to see how that plays out, but have him quickly change back. I dunno, I'm conflicted.
Weren't we all screaming and crying when it was pulled from the schedule? And it's been, what, like 3 weeks or 4 since it came back to TV?
I actually feel bad that that's another complaint against the show this season, the fact that it's just TOO nice. Cynicism is ruining even TV for us.
Also, after clicking the link to the press release, you have no idea how sad/angry at humanity I was to find out that the whole Jeopardy thing wasn't Sean mocking these press releases - the actual writer of the actual press release actually used that Jeopardy joke. I'm still sad about it.
Kinda funny how (as much as I love the show) one of the main complaints against Parks and Rec this season is that the characters are slowly becoming caricatures.
