The Treehouse of Horror episodes are usually written at the end of the previous season's run. There was a reason for this, that I forget now, but the Kang & Kodos mention in the finale could very well just be a reporter mix up as it is the last thing the writers are working on before returning for the next season.

I mean, "Baby Monkey" is great and all, but not a good as "Do You Like Waffles?"

@avclub-c9a543dad6d3b323f49b5afdc9b2d9ae:disqus I get the distaste for "Prevenge" as it seems like an unfleshed out demo that doesn't have the audio bite that the lyrics need.

@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus "Are You Ready" is totally worth it… but "Girl U Want (1995)" just wasn't. Curses to that stack of soundtracks that I want to get rid of from my shelf, but I just CAN'T!

This may come down to us really liking the same band but for very different reasons, as I also adore "Another First Kiss" and I've always dug "Out of Jail". I've always seen TMBG as an innovative and fun pop band, but those words aren't mutually exclusive. If they're not doing something interesting or something I've

I seriously think "Window" is that bad. John Henry would be a perfect album with out it. It is the only skippable track for me on any TMBG record.

@mbs did you really thing they were heading in a electronica dance direction after Mink Car? Attending the shows at the time I was pretty sure they were heading in a full on rave-up power pop direction!

@avclub-884c4beddd8c98bb3b016bdfcc1bcdf8:disqus Really? I love "Take Out the Trash" and "the Mesopotamians." But to each their own. I like The Else quite a bit and have only really been disappointed, album wise, with The Spine, most of those songs are just lost on me ("Stalk of Wheat" and "Museum of Idiots" being the

Too bad for you @avclub-bd639b876c6a37363c08ea18cbcfe0c4:disqus , there's 2 different versions of "SenSurround" and the soundtrack one is the better of the two.

So should I be happy that I got into X-Ray Spex after hearing a good cover then? bis doing "Germ Free Adolescents" is pretty ace.

The writers have repeated said that Sheldon in no way has Asperger's. Always thought that was a missed opportunity.

It often gets the references correct, but more often than not it isn't used for a joke. That's what really kills it for me. The girls conversation about Thor's Hammer is the kind of thing the show should do more often.

Yes he did, and it was one of the few nice things that Sheldon had ever done on the episodes that I had watched. The issue that derailed the date was about Batman and Earth 2 and Joe Chill and was well researched and was open for jokes to be made, but none were. The conversation between Stuart and Sheldon went on for

Saw it again last night. Of the 6 Hugh Grant parts he only spoke in 3 and was actually entertaining one if them.

Grant was well used. Only small parts in each of the stories. I don't think he even has any lines in 2 of the stories.

Exactly! I saw this on Monday, and I suffer from ADD, this movie was a breeze to sit through. Easy to understand and follow too, with out any "this is what is happening" exposition.

It had been established that the 2 (previously 3 before 1 dropped and Raffi took over, that later quit and Jennie took over from) out of town guys don't care as much and usually leave it on auto draft anyway.
