As long as Avatar doesn't sweep, I'll be consolable. This may not end well.

Some Issues I Had
When I realized it wasn't going to be a straight forward same ole adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, I got hopeful. I was expecting something along the lines of Return to Oz. That everything might be subverted and a little darker and more grown-up, but it pretty much is the exact same story. One

I also enjoy Mr. God's adaptation of Remains more than Howards End.

I wish there was more tension. This episode helped, but I would like to see the screws tightening. So to speak.

I loved Where the Wild Things Are. I definitely didn't find it joyless or boring at all.

20 minutes in the future . . .

Mel Gibson
I won't watch any movie where Mel Gibson's character has to avenge the death of a loved one. I've been burned too many times.

Chicken Run was pretty good.

And only one person was dead in Carnival of Souls. Not everybody. So, no.

I think he was aiming for a B.

Yeah I'm excited about this.
And now I'm suddenly self-conscious about the fact that I have a still from The Departed as my avatar.
