Shredder, I'll still be your friend. Even though I completely disagree with you about Synecdoche.

I was just using pretentious because it was used in the write-up. Perhaps I should have put quotes around it. Oh, well.
I love this movie
I love the visuals. I love the kid - despite usually not liking kid actors. I love how subversive the story is. I love the pretentious montage when the little girl breaks her leg. I love the ridiculous sign language Darwin uses to communicate with that weird dude from the tree. I love how Lee Pace's…
Bonnaroo
It looks like he's going to be playing at Bonnaroo this year, so I'm going to get to see him then. I'm kind of excited about that.
Wasn't the serum that CLaire gave to Aaron procured by Charlie who got it from the Swan station?
Lon Chaney, Jr. is fantastic as the Wolf Man. "Look at the scar! I was bitten! By a wolf!" He was also just about the only actor to portray his respective monster through every sequel. He was completely dedictaed through this character all the way up through Abbott and COstello Meet Frankenstein.
Regarding the Corpses
Other corpses that have disappeared include everyone on the drug plane - including Eko's brother, who then confronted Eko and seemingly turned into the Monster, but maybe not? Maybe this really is the zombie season.
Screwball Comedies
Reading most of these descriptions reminds me specifically of The Awful Truth with Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. Of course, that movie is awesome. It's also about people that have been with each for years and are trying to make each other jealous. Mean pranks ensue.
My Picks
For chicks: I'm going with Ripley in Aliens.
I just think there's more to horror than visceral supernatural terror. There are themes about life and death and good and evil going on. That being said:
NBC
Does anybody know when this season starts airing on NBC?
The Pool Scene
I will always remember when I saw this in a theater. During the scene in the pool, when the decapitated head falls into the pool, some outraged guy at the back of the theater screamed, "JESUS CHRIST!"
I'm really liberal with what I consider horror. I've had this discussion with a lot of friends. For me, horror doesn't just have to have gore and nudity. And if it has vampires, bloodletting, and people bursting into flames when they make contact with the sun - I'm not sure how one couldn't think it was horror. I…
Igby Goes Down
I really liked him in Igby Goes Down. That's the first time I really noticed who he was.
I heard the same thing regarding Desmond.
My Question
Why was Desmond on the plane? And where did he go?
It was heart-breaking.
What's really sad is I got the quote wrong.
"I'm confused."
Isn't that the saddest thing you ever heard?
I can't tell with the animated shorts. Because it played at Sundance in 2009, I would have thought it was a 2009 film.
