Yeah it is kind of disappointing to me that they are already billing II as "the final film" in the Rob Zombie's Halloween series. If it's really good, he's kind of boxed himself in and has to backtrack if he wants to make another one. Also, movies should be trilogies (I guess Godfather aside).

Never seen a Spiderman movie but go watch A Simple Plan and tell me Raimi sucks. Of course he was working from an excellent novel and screenplay, but still, the direction, pacing and acting were spot on perfect.
