My brother and his friend used to make fun of this guy in the local phone book named Guy Hole. Then one day my bro went with family friends to some sort of Sons of Norway club-type event (people do these things in NE Minneapolis) and was introduced to one Guy Hole. This is not a double entendre.

The best part of "Mallrats" is when the kid says she sees the schooner in the Magic Eye picture and the gentleman who later turned up on "My Name is Earl" laughs at her: "Youuu dumb bastard."

This is probably as good a place as any to jump in and say I'll be watching the fucking Oscars. I have people over to watch the whole ceremony every year, with ballots and the whole deal, and I don't care about the fashion, though we do talk about it a bit, I'm sure. I just like to cry at the "movies are magic"…

I couldn't tell you if his pronunciation's famously bad, but I can tell you it sure is terrible. Very endearingly so, I must say—the way he pronounces "ich" is crazy, it's almost a dipthong. It sets my teeth on edge but I love it.
