Line of the season, in response to Ed Begley telling Grace about "star constellations" in the tea he'd given her to make for Frankie: "Makes total fucking sense! Thanks, Mark!"

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a TV show with people in their 70s being sexual on-screen without the sexuality being played for "ew, old people" laughs. The Golden Girls, maybe, but I think everyone but Sophia was in their 50s or 60s, right?

Will and Emma's baby will be a boy. They'll name him Finn.

This show not only passes the Bechdel Test, it almost fails the reverse Bechdel Test completely: in other words, there are hardly any scenes in the entire first season where two men talk to each other about something other than a woman.

Cory Monteith was a fantastic actor and a really great guy who was admirably open about his addiction history and struggles. I was never a big fan of Finn overall, but what I liked about him was always the earnest sweetness Monteith brought to the role. He made a man in his late twenties playing a teenager believable.

GOB to Michael in "Flight of the Phoenix": "If you were ashamed of being in love with a man, suddenly discovered these new feelings, something that you only allowed to happen because you thought he was gay and you were hoping to exact revenge, but then you found out he was straight, then you wanted to get even, so

Rhoda Williams's bad impression of a child actually makes the episode creepier for me. The first time I watched it I thought some unknown, malevolent force was mimicking Tina's voice so that her parents would come in after her.

Last season's Nationals had some legitimately great performances from the New Directions. Paradise by the Dashboard Light is still one of my all-time favorite group numbers the show's ever done.

I like that Rachel apparently didn't have to, you know, ACT or anything for her BROADWAY AUDITION TO PLAY FANNY BRICE.

Great catch.

The new company's name is obviously Pizza House.

"If you don't like what's being said, change the conversation" was Don's line in "Love Among the Ruins," wasn't it? What a fantastic callback. I love that Peggy's better this season at being Don professionally than Don is—and that Pete's worse at being Don personally than Don is.

The parallels between Vic and Walter White are obvious, but I think Corrine is also an important precursor for Skyler White. "Someone has to protect this family from the man who protects this family" could've easily been a Corrine line. Not to mention all the hatred Corrine attracted during the series's run from fans

SHOE

Norma's scream as the paintings melt and the thermometer bursts is absolutely terrifying, one of the best moments of I-can't-take-this pure horror I've ever seen. It's the look on her face that does it for me: http://25.media.tumblr.com/…

Anthony's body is just a flesh vessel for an immortal being whose name, if you heard it, would make you lose your mind.

"The Midnight Sun" is my favorite TZ episode, hands down. I can't watch it without a big glass of water in my hand.

Yes, there's a line at the end that refers to Anthony's birth, where he "crept" from his mother's womb and the doctor ("God rest him," the narrator observes) immediately screamed and tried to kill him on sight. Definitely not altogether human.
