Oh yeah…Sara Lund is a kick ass drummer.

One of the best live shows I ever attended was Unwound at the Great American Music Hall. My friend had been trying to get me to see them for quite some time, finally I gave in. I remember them starting off with Corpse Pose and ending the set with For Your Entertainment. Such a great show!

Best opening for a B-52's album.Legal Tender is in my top 5 fave B-52's songs. Also, what about "Trism"?

Gang of Four's Hard while not nearly as good as the earlier stuff, is definitely not bad. I am a big fan of that album.

Exactly. I personally like the album because there are a few good tunes on there. I really only cringe on A Piece of My Heart which I consider to be the among worst things ever recorded by that duo. The first two albums rule because of that particular line up of Dave, Hugo, Jon and Andy. "Songs of the Free" still had

"Hard" isn't bad. I love Gang of Four as well. I own all of the first four albums. "Hard" gets a very, er, hard time from the fans, but I would hardly say its the worst thing they ever put out. Not the best thing ever done by the band, but definitely not a bad album.

"Goodbye Mr. Ed" is the best!! I still think Tonight's not a bad album. "Tumble and Twirl" is still a favorite after all these years.

I really like Jenny Hval's latest. I thought that one was a very pleasant surprise. Yeezus seems to be getting more play than anything else at the moment. There was a ton of really great stuff released this year.

Yes.

You're right. That was the show where Buffalo Tom and Yo La Tengo opened, right? I was sitting in the balcony for that as well. Haven't been to a BG Civic show since Echo and the Bunnymen in '88 so I wouldn't know. The MBV show at the Concourse in '08 wasn't that bad though. The Warfield isn't a bad place, I just

Ugh. Really? I would rather see them at the Fillmore or the Concourse (again). I saw them play the Warfield in '94 and the sound was atrocious.

Alice's Adventures In Wonderland (1972)

Rocky Horror Picture Show OST.

Hahaha!

+1

Robert Altman's Come Back To The Five and Dime Jimmy Dean on blu-ray.

I just said the same thing up there before I got down here. I really like September. Lots.

I wouldn't mind seeing the footage Christopher Walken shot for September before Sam Waterson replaced him. I read somewhere that they were halfway through shooting when that happened.

No "Different Finger" by Elvis Costello and the Attractions? C'mon.

Good call. I was torn between "Remain In Light" and "More Songs About Buildings And Food." Do live albums count here? "Stop Making Sense" opens with two really great songs as well.
