I'm with you, it makes it a bit less creepy, but the whole thing is still, like, hella creepy. But it's important to be pedantic, otherwise we get phrases like "drink the Kool-Aid" (it was Flavor-Ade) and hacky tropes like "Hail Xenu" (Xenu is the bad guy in Scientology lore).
