My first gig ever was Them Crooked Vultures in '09 in Edinburgh (I'm young). It was my first time in amongst a rock crowd so it was pretty rough and it hurt a bit. Other than that it was pretty damn special.

I noticed it! Along with a poster for The Kills. So apparently Max is a fan of The Kills.

I think it's good. I got the deluxe edition, too. And I'm not even ashamed anymore (I was initially). It's a great pop album.

Saw them live in Glasgow 2 days ago. They put on a great show. I have no idea how the lead singer's voice hasn't been destroyed yet. It's a force of nature I tell thee!

I agree entirely with this (and the post above). I don't think releasing that song as a lead single helps her "image" at all, and what people perceive her as. Sure, it's extremely catchy and there is definitely an art to songs like that, but it just results in people who aren't familiar with her to just cast her as

That's fair. I don't know much about the songwriting process in Nashville in particular, though I've heard it's more common to have contributions from hired songwriters rather than the artist themselves. From what I've seen, she is open about which songs she writes, and how/where/when she writes them. And similarly

This is coming from a male musician who never listens to this sort of stuff (like, ever). I hate 90% of modern pop music. I do appreciate pop, just not what it's offering lately. But I find it hard to hate Taylor Swift. As far as mainstream music goes, I think she's doing it the best. Maybe her writing and co-writing

I'm glad there is more in store for me. Seeing Larry be misunderstood is addictive.
