Like half of Ghostbusters took place in a few locations - their office, the alley behind it and some low rent sites like the concert hall. The ghosts weren't photorealistic CGI, so again, shouldn't have been that expensive. The final parade sequence was about the only place where any of that budget remotely showed.

I saw (and liked) the film. But it did NOT look like a $140 million movie considering like half of it takes place in an alley and an office over a Chinese restaurant. The ghosts were good looking, but since they didnt need to be super realistic, the CGI should have been WAY cheaper than something like Star Trek.
