I didn't recall the name Shiga until I saw the art, and then I immediately said, "Oh! The guy who drew Fleep! Cool!"

Word of the day: "Mythic" can mean mythical, which is what it means in the article (about the Polish cavalry charging German tanks), but it can also mean "sounding like it should be a myth but isn't" - it's one of those words that can end up having two opposing meanings.

House of Wax (1953), based on Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933). The old DVD I have has both on it, and while the first isn't bad, the second has Vincent Price, some weird 3D effects, and has some pretty good creepiness.

There was also a Bob Ross marathon on Twitch, where the chat box would quickly fill with "RUINED" upon any mark, and "SAVED" when Ross went back and made it part of the picture. People were remarkably polite during the whole run.

Did his audience know that he stole his whole show? He just ripped off his teacher, and added an afro!

STEVONION: not the ship, but the fusion. Weapon: baseball bat and pink baseballs.

Counterpoint: These Rubies are kinda stupid, unable to tell the real Jasper from an obviously shapeshifting Amethyst, or even humans from Gems - it wouldn't be difficult to outsmart them, especially in a chaotic battle.

The Homeworld Gems finally invade en masse, but after they use the you-and-what-army taunt, the Cluster (in a non-world-destroying manner) emerges as backup.

Somehow, Rose Quartz still turns out to be Pink Diamond - the story of RQ destroying PD keeps getting told, but every time it's always "I heard that…" or "Someone said that…" and never "I saw the actual body!"

"I don't know what to say. Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys. You're all swell! Goodbye! I'll never forget you all!"

Pericles feels like George R.R. Martin snuck into Disney and rewrote a fairy-tale script for an hour before getting caught.

I was more of a Dixie the Taxi Driver aficionado myself… something about the accent…

GOD GOD DAMMIT!!
- sung by me any time someone else on the road is driving crazily

You know, if Alison Brie married Brie Larson, her name would be Alison Larson! …Which isn't funny at all.

Wait… This isn't the Stanley Parable! We've got to get out!

"Something remotely similar to P.T." could describe quite a few games, actually - Notes of Obsession is short but pretty well designed, while Layers of Fear is longer but more verbose. And yes, REVII is quite similar. Any others?

The original had the suspect be in the army during WWII and his wife be a German woman he met during the war. Will the remake be in the same time period? If not, which war in which country would be used? Maybe the Gulf War and Iraq? Or would they just trim that part out?

"This joke-telling holiday belongs to us? That just leaves one question!"
"What's that?"
"Where do I return it for a full refund?"
"DOH-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho!"
