This is must watch only for people that are absolute suckers for mystery. The show lacks all sense of subtlety or drama, there's no sympathy generated for any of the characters, and despite being hit over the head with the idea that people have to follow the rules our lead character breaks every rule he finds almost

People dislike AD season 4 for the same reason they've soured on Community season's 5 & 6 — it's NEW.

So your problem isn't a lack of POC it's a lack of specifically black people? I really can't see a benefit to splitting hairs on Asian ethnicity otherwise. Are you suggesting that all black people have the same culture?

Because they were replaced by other fully realized POC characters? Or does Asian not count? Are you racist? You just got proven racist by the racist prover.

I take exception with your description of "shoehorning." Garrett is the Annie's Cleavage Laser Bomb of this season.

I think it was more like "Alright, fuck this, I'm out" and then looked back :p

The cast isn't what made it different than other network comedies, even black-ish (a by the numbers sitcom that I actually adore) doesn't have this same foundation of true character. Being upset at losing two POC for its own sake is silly when a) the writing still understands the fundamental difference between

Could be. Todd has been fucking weird as hell this season, but he was fucking weird before Neil supposedly left.

I noticed that Orange is the New Black seasons 1 & 2 were on On Demand now — so stranger things have happened.

Can't blame the guy really.

The best projects are usually creative collaborations between opposing forces and is likely one reason why post-Pierce Community feels so radically different since Chevy isn't there to impart his opposing comedic energies.

Wow; three SICK burns all in a row.

I think you mean Real Neil and he's already been in this season, twice I think.

Newsradio? You mean that fantastic comedy that turned to utter shit without Phil Hartman? Community is doing far better with the loss of cast members than Newsradio ever did. Really weird comparison.

"You can't prove that they're not! Have you ever SEEN a cat penis?"

I made this point in another comment that deserves more play: Pierce is a level 5 laser lotus and in a tv show that seriously deals with the prospect of multiple realities Pierce coming back to life is not one of the most incredulous things they could do.

Pierce actually; it felt like they had been dropping hints about a ghost Pierce throughout the season .. but that is surely just wishful thinking on my part.

That would be great if Community had a planned ending with a perfect escalation of challenges that culminated in an electrifying climax that turned on a decision of an act-or that illuminated the true character underneath the characterization who, upon final adherence to the morality of the story's universe, was

Crying from laughter. As my buddy Elroy would say though; you sure know how to write a comment!

Did you forget that he's a level 5 laser lotus? Death holds no grip on masters of the mind.
