Yes, it was sort of like they were unsure whether to have him back LaGuerta or Dexter, so they opted for having him do nothing.

FUUUUUUUCK is apt, but it has stiff competition from Surprise Motherfucker, Redux.

Also, Quinn was acting really weird in that station scene. Everyone was squawking about Dexter in handcuffs except Quinn, who just nodded a couple times  and then kept his eyes glued to the floor. It was like Harrington realized someone forgot to give him a line and avoided eye contact out of embarrassment.

Well, they seem to pushing Jamie and Quinn together, so he'll have lots of reason to be nosing around Dexter's business again.

I agree with @avclub-a2a33af291331b1e61ac01f56eec7bd6:disqus: Dana will be in on the plan to clear Brody's name. Dana will butt heads with her mom over whether Brody is a terrorist or not. Chris will take over Dana's old surly teenager spot, heartbroken that his dad never finished that card game.

I don't feel like watching again, so I can't say this with absolute certainty, but I'm pretty sure they didn't give him any actual lines in this episode at all.

After a rewatch this morning, I'm going with Peter being the frog. Reason being that in the Python sketch, the frog is the one that helps Walter defeat the Dark Walter Knight.

@avclub-e1b3fa16446b9e167870f5d13062d444:disqus : Oh, agreed. I was speaking more in terms of the theory that it might be Windmark, as he is not. (Although I don't know if he shaves his head for the role).

Good call, although I wonder if the Observer kid might not be the Black Umbrella (or just the plan in general?). Black umbrellas would go nicely with Observer fashion sense.

I've been assuming that was just a coincidence, with maybe not all details of the endgame stories planned/sorted at that point that August was written and shot.
