It may not have been a great movie, but Sandler seems to give something at least approaching an actual performance in "Reign Over Me"

Holy shit, @PugsMalone- that is maybe the single greatest Highlander-related story I've ever heard.  That is absolutely so awesome that I hope I never find out it's not true.

As much as I detest the "Love Conquers All" version, it has one redeeming factor: the scene in the restaurant between Sam and his mother, where they're discussing her recent plastic surgery, and he remarks, "My God- it worked!".  I don't believe that line exists in the other versions in that set, which is a shame,

Robocop,  The studio's R-rated version makes for a good-but-violent action flick, while the unrated director's cut, with it's reinserted bloodbaths, lets the violence carry on so long that it becomes comical, subtly changing the tone of the movie from action to ridiculously-dark comedy.
