Can anyone really say that and not think "Why buy the cow when you can get the sex for free"?

No country song, but he's guesting on Common's latest mixtape.

Without even looking it up, it seemed to me like something that was written and left half-finished several years ago, with a new lyric tossed onto the end.

Hate to admit it, but I wound up reading this whole thing in Otto's voice, somehow.

I have to ask: how many people here have started to fall asleep to DSOTM, only to be startled back to life by "Time"?

I can't speak for any generation previous to mine, but it seems like my generation (as I'm pushing 32) were compelled to get into Floyd due to the fact that DSOTM had been on the charts for so long.  I didn't listen to classic rock radio, my parents were strictly Carpenters and Neil Diamond listeners (save the once a

I hate to admit, but even having been a Floyd fan for most of my life, I had been completely ignorant of "Obscured" (for me, the band started with side 2 of "Meddle", but I rarely listened to anything other than "Wish You Were Here" and "The Wall"), until Alice Cooper played "The Gold It's In The…" on his radio show

My only issue with the obit?  Using an image from the apple.com front page, rather than a pic of Jobs with the big red NO over it.

There's no money in a cure.

I admit- I've not been taking proper notice of Richard Moll of late.  Has he changed shape or coloration?

Hey…..lay off Android, man.  Even as an avid Android user, I was hit kinda hard by the news of Jobs' passing.  (For the record, I use an Android tablet for the same reason I install Linux on most of my PCs: it's cheaper than the alternative.)

Would the cancellation mean that ALL episodes get shown in syndication?  In order?  If so, fucking cancel it already, PLEASE!  I would assume everyone's on the same syndication schedule, but I hate that my local affiliate seems to show mostly seasons 7-10, then just recently did a smattering of episodes from season 4,

Unfortunately, I never got to see this episode, as my parents pretty well forbade the show after the episode where Robbie goes vegetarian, then ends the episode by breaking the forth wall and encouraging the kids at home to avoid drugs "and put an end to preachy sitcom episodes like this one".

@….well, everybody in the world, I guess- Yeah, I watch Franklin & Bash. It's occasionally mildly amusing, but more importantly, it's easy enough to follow when you're not even paying attention. Besides- isn't it our duty to our children? If we can watch this and keep Breckin Meyer employed, maybe we can all prevent

You know what could have saved this show? Maybe if TNT spent some fucking money promoting it. Hell- it was halfway through season 1 before I'd even heard of it, and I try to keep up on whatever Scott Bakula is doing (because it makes my wife happy- she's had a thing for him since she heard him on some Sondheim cast

and THIS…
is the reason why I'm proud to admit that I read AV Club- a fucking hilarious article. Sure, it's a great pic (one that I'm tempted to save to desktop), but the article not only makes the time spent clicking this link worth it, but also is so awesome that I feel compelled to show it to my wife as

The fanbase for Akira just want this thing made so maybe we can, once and for all, figure out what the fuck happens in the last 20 minutes of the story.

I'm afraid I can't comment on the face- I'll need a higher res image.

Why not Marc Forster? I mean, you just can't go wrong with 150 cuts in a 45-second action set piece, can you?

For years, the only two songs of his that I knew were "Steppin' Out" and "I'm The Man", and had practically convinced myself that there were two different Joe Jacksons (not including Michael's father).
