Erik's definitely their top priority. After that, either convince Sherri she's better off with them or have Eddie try to seduce Andrea

Exactly. The key was Erik: if he'd told Erik before Tribal that they were going to vote out Philip then he keeps his idol and Philip goes home

Nooooooooo they still tie-

Dawn's not out of it yet. She's stil got the underdog, come-from-behind angle going that Lisa Whelchel had last season

If Malcolm had gambled and kept his idol then he'd be much better off next week. Without gauranteee Erik was voting with them though that's probably too big of a gamble

But all that would do would force a tie (3 votes for Malcolm since Stealth-r-Us always splits the vote and the 3 Amigos 3 for Phillip). Then they lose the re-vote.

No way Brenda wins. Not enough screen time. Or Reynold, he's gotten a real douche edit. Editing-wise I'd say Cochran, Dawn, Andrea, Malcolm, and maaaaaaaaybe Erik have a shot.

Agreed. Maybe split the points or something? I mean, Eddie didn't actually do anything, he just took the idol from Malcolm and gave it to Probst when he asked for it

If Malcolm had kept his idol it would have been a master-stroke. If he had been savvy enough to get Erik on his side before the vote and find out all the girls were voting Eddie then the alliance is in a much better position moving forward because Malcolm could have kept his idol. Now they're still down 6-3 and all

I hate that I'm being placed in the position to have to choose between Malcolm and Cochran. It's not fair

At least it gave Brenda a confessional. That's all that matters

ARE YOU COCHRAN!?!?!?!?!?!?

If the beginning of the episode hadn't spent so much time wallowing on Dawn this would be an easy A. Hell, it may still be an A: great challenges, insane Tribal Council, and a wonderfully poetic ending,

@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus Philip is just another variation on the original Coach.

I rewatched Australia last year and Colby was a lot smarter then I remembered and very funny and charming. It's a shame he's only remembered for Heroes vs Villains because the first incarnation of Colby was wonderful.

Cao-boi was Coach before Coach. It's a shame he didn't go further.

It's amazing to me how Penner consistently does so well in this game without any alliances. He's like the Survivor cockroach you just can't kill. I love it.

I knew my girl had it in her. GO TEAM ANDREA!!!!!!!

Well see Amanda had a great chance to win until she blew it on the jury questions. If Dawn makes it to the end the way she's playing, her game is lost before she gets in the door.

Oh Malcolm. Never change
