I'm almost sure thats why penner voted abi bc he believed they had the extra vote (if skupin hadnt flipped it would be 5-4 with pete gone) and he didnt want to risk pete getting the idol. Of course for that to have any effect jeff would need an idol too so in the end he just threw away a vote. Must be kicking himself

The huge difference though is that while Penner has the idol, the alliance is entirely in Jeff's control. This means that as soon as the reach the merge (next week it looks like), Penner's control over Kalabaw as a voting bloc is gone. While the idol will give him security in the future, he's never gonna have any more

The best final 3 scenario is psycho and one coat-tail rider who did whatever you wanted and doesn't have a case for anyone's vote. Boston Rob, of course, did this the best. taking Philip and Natalie.

Well I recognize the name Jeff Kent but it's a pretty common name and Survivor is obviously way out of context. And I had no idea what he looked like before this season, and I'm a pretty well informed baseball fan. The youth of most of the players is the obvious reason they (and I) wouldn't know who he was but I'm

@avclub-60834bec2156664276da2026a904fc81:disqus I considered that too. I've always preferred final 2 to final 3 so I'm rooting for it

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus They've started adding to the jury before the merge a few different times (Cook Islands, H vs V) so that doesn't concern me. On the other hand, with 3 idols in play and no real solid alliances those post-merge tribals should be insane. I've actually talked myself into

Actually everyone was pulling everybody's clothes off in that challenge. It was like a mud orgy with competition and no penetration. And people say Survivor was never good.

I try to give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. Two weeks of no food, grueling physical conditions, and being constantly on camera will do wonders to wreck your emotional state. I'm not sure how long they're away from their families before they actually get to location either so that's a factor.

As a cross country guy, everything you just said is true.
