True that, hpnerd. All I need to do to make my girlfriend laugh is show her the picture on Lostpedia of Ben standing in the doorway with a huge Hot Pocket smear on the wall next to him. Truly one of Lost's greatest moments.

I don't get it.

Wow, seriously. That was some pretty deep Star Wars preaching. I think I have a new found respect for those little furry bastards.

I wish they had a single t-shirt for each station. It seems they have individual shirts for some of the new jobs (Motor Pool, Cafeteria, Security) and the more recently revealed stations (Lamp Post, Looking Glass) but all they have for the other stations is one shirt that lumps all six on one shirt. Did they used to

I personally think it could have used a hugely annoying, Jamaican accented CGI alien to infuse it with a lighthearted slapstick quality.

I tend to lean towards Widmore simply because it would seem to take a massive amount of not just money, but resources to pull off a hoax like that. Ben very well could have funded it (we saw a glimpse of his cash reserves in his secret room) but I don't know if he would have the network of people needed to do the

Yes, it totally made me think of a play I did in junior high where a false mustache I was wearing slowly slid off over the course of a scene. Luckily the elementary school kids in attendance didn't seem to mind too much. I guess Lost's viewers are a bit more discerning.

Seriously, the ABC people need to get off of their asses and get some of this gear online. As much as I love the idea of owning a Dharma jumpsuit, it's not really practical spring attire.

To be fair, Kate wasn't a very good bank robbing con artist. Which is one of the reasons she was on the run so much of the time.

I agree with you that Hurley's humor is needed, but like I said elsewhere on the board, I feel that the writers sometimes rely too much on Hurley as the provider of that humor, at the expense of his character development.

Faraday was on the Island in 1977. We saw him at the building site of the Orchid when they discovered the frozen donkey wheel. I'm thinking he was part of the sub team sent to Michigan in order to pick up the DeGroots and whoever else was on the sub.

I agree that Hurley's jokes seemed a little forced this week. I think sometimes that, in relying on him as the comic relief for the show, overdo the amount which Hurley is "on" with a witty comeback. I think Hurley works great as the show's lighter side, but only when used sparingly.

Maybe he was keeping his receipts. It's not like he would have done the purchasing himself. It would have been through a number of shell companies, and the like. Perhaps he was having his receipts delivered to him and they were stolen en route.

The New Dharma angle doesn't click with me mainly because the whole "What lies in the shadow of the statue" seems more Island-mystical stuff to me than anything else. Of course knowing my guessing ability it will probably end up being some kind of new Dharma hatch in that shadow.

Maybe Miles and Pierre can pick out matching models. What a bonding opportunity.

Another Empire Cross Reference That I Loved
Hurley talking to Miles about a father son relationship wherein one of the members loses a hand. Who thinks we're going to be seeing Dr. Chang needing a prosthetic sometime very soon?

It would seem that the Brams have it. Oh man, he's not going to turn out to be a vampire, is he?

From what I remember she said that there were a number of people that Ben had killed on the Island, and that they would have invaluable information concerning him and his whereabouts.

Is the "sub of possibilities" the opposite of the "douche canoe"?

Maybe someone has to step in to keep Ben & Widmore from destroying the Island.
