This is probably a stretch, but it worked for me at least:

"Newhart" - I have such fond memories of watching it with the whole family on Monday nights. "Parks and Rec" frequently reminds me of it, as far as tone and characters.  I think it often gets overshadowed by "The Bob Newhart Show", which is a damn shame!

I'm here, too! Just watched this today for a scary Halloween matinee. Have been meaning to see this one for years, and found it suitably gross and entertaining. I do agree about the third act, though. However, I still liked the film enough to recommend it.

I am actually a Boston Rob fan…
but it kind of bothers me that the producers are tossing him challenges that they are basically pulling from the "Things Boston Rob Kicks Ass At" scrapbook. He aced that memory challenge in HvV. I do like him, though, so I guess I'm happy to see him advance.

Redemption Island is AWFUL! For all the reasons listed above…the only consolation I take is that "R.I." is the actual title of the season, so hopefully the producers won't feel the need to bring it back.

The wacky world of characters of Pawnee reminds me a little of those in the world of 'Newhart', but without Bob and Joanna to anchor the middle. Guess my age is showing.
