Last night, I was reminded of the "Twilight Zone" episode where the sun does not rise and a whole town is surrounded by darkness after a white man kills a KKK member. It's still one of my favorites.

I just wish he wasn't so pro-gun…but the "get rid of all guns" solution does not seem too realistic at the moment.

Are you advocating not thinking in binary?

The Dissident Bludgeoner would be a great name for a wrestler.

My mom always called him Ronald Dahl when referring to him or his books when I was a kid. If I recall correctly, she was either stupefied when I corrected her or she insisted I was wrong and that Roald really wasn't a name.

I've never really worried about freedom of the press as something that could be taken away until this election. I was discussing it with my old middle school teacher. I don't think [Republican candidate] will win, but it's another horrifying thing to keep in the back of your mind if/when the GOP gains ground…not that

Thank God. Should I try to treasure the time in which I am alive now, where there will only be one Pixar original film for the rest of the decade (although hopefully at least one good sequel) or should I just start anticipating the 2020s?

Hey! Someone mentioned "Scrubs"! I've said before that I don't think any season of "Scrubs" was BAD (prior to 9) but I do get the point.

Well, I JUST got "Modern Romance" from Netflix's DVD-by-mail service, kind of figuring it would never be the type of movie that would ever get put on streaming, and I have a copy of "Defending Your Life", a very underrated, thoughtful early-'90s movie. But I like Brooks, and this finally gives me a chance to see

PB, it's been ages since I stumbled into the comments section in SL…but I know how you feel. It's the shittiest. I wish you the best and hope things swiftly improve. It's summer. You're in NYC. Those are two good things that will help your odds.

Holy shit. Summer 2017?

Oh, I'm aware that it happens…I've just never seen it from a "behind the scenes" angle as it was portrayed in the episode.

Yeah, Maritza and Flaca's scene rubbed me the wrong way too.

I knew, once I was finished with the season, that there would be some themes people would have some trouble with. The idea that Bayley was generally someone far less sullied by the prison system and a warped sense of morality than his fellow CO’s, but wound up (accidentally) killing Poussey, is not some sort of

I'm willing to bet the vast majority of people who think the Benghazi attack was Clinton's exclusive fault have not even bothered to learn the names of the 4 people who died.

I feel like it'll be better to discuss that tomorrow when the finale is reviewed and the season is over. Otherwise there is a chance spoilers will be inadvertently revealed. Once this episode finishes, we know nothing other than the fact Poussey's dead.

"Actually, some of the girls seemed pretty nice."
*receives hostile glares, caves*
"…you know, for a bunch of mud bunnies and sp*cs."

I think Caputo saw it as a lose-lose situation and didn't want to tempt fate considering what happened at the end of last season. They were seriously all he had, and this was an unpredictable episode in an unpredictable season. There were really funny moments in this episode too, but my brain keeps rewinding back to

I'm just glad I didn't find out about it before I watched this episode.

Alarm bells most likely really started ramping up for the kid in the final minutes of his life, based on realizations that he had made about the snap decisions that led him to Suzanne's house and what his parents would think if they knew he was in that situation. My heart shattered for both him and Suzanne in this
