Except for the fact that it's not.
Except for the fact that it's not.
"Blue Collar" was an absolutely fantastic album, 'Fest does not deserve to be thought of as washed-up or irrelevant (for goodness' sake, he's halfway into an EGOT). I'm hoping once he releases his new music, he gets the recognition he deserves.
Honestly, in spite of the immense amount of money it made, I highly doubt it'll make it as a nominee.
Oh, it's definitely getting a Best Original Screenplay nomination, and if they re-expand the Oscar Best Picture to 9 or 10, I think "Inside Out" has a real good shot of being a contender.
Geez, my fault for rushing through this so much I did not even read "today", the most important word.
I feel like that at the very least construction won't commence without some protest from people who like the more independent spirit and mom-and-pop companies in Seattle (Amazon's headquarters being located there notwithstanding.)
While this undoubtedly makes him one of the greatest unsung heroes of the 20th century, not only was Petrov not rewarded, he was demoted to a less sensitive post, because his superiors were embarrassed by the failure of their warning system. In Soviet Russia, missiles fire you!
I do hope the site continues to grow. People who shit talk Wikipedia are almost always incredibly irritating to me, and as I've been an editor there for 4 1/2 years, I've encountered very little hostility or problems. And this is the Internet, where no one can see that I'm a white male.
I've been following the Oscar predictions for this year (next year's ceremony) for a while and the fact that Jason Segel seems to be such a long-shot for a nomination for his role as DFW in "The End of the Tour" makes me really sad.
1. "Forrest Gump" - Frank Ocean (time will tell if Frank has a song on his sophomore effort called "Pulp Fiction" for his fans here)
2. "I Don't Understand It" - Big L
3. "That Night" - Atmosphere
4. "Scream Phoenix" - Cannibal Ox
5. "I Come Apart" - A$AP Rocky
Will it be as good as his verse in his rap battle with Michael Steele? Time will tell, but I'm optimistic.
I thought Amy looked absolutely stunning with that crown on.
I didn't see it coming. I'm dumb I have had many other things on my mind this weekend.
YES. So glad this got the A it deserves.
This is a good episode, it really is; but I'm glad I'm not a misogynist for not being huge on the ending.
Wait, there are two?
"Pulverizing" is an awesome adjective that more people should use in daily life.
Not for this film, but for the upcoming H.H. Holmes biopic. When informed Holmes wasn't an actual cannibal, he said he was just trying method acting at its most extreme so to finally clinch that Oscar if he gets passed over for his performance in "The Revenant". He's always thinking ahead.
This is one of the few Death Cab albums I don't have. I'm going to have to look into this and "We Have The Facts" tonight.
All Rock has to do is make one monologue - related to film or not - as hilarious, relevant and honest as the bullet control one from the late '90s and I'll be enraptured.
