I would have preferred it written out in all caps, as it's clearly the best quote of the episode, but upvoted regardless.

Every single time I see a John Oliver thread I see people making ridiculous, generalized complaints about "LWT" or specific complaints that actually don't apply to it at all. It's sanctimonious as shit.
I liked this book more than most on the AVC but I was pretty unhappy with how it ended (it's the only thing I've read from Eggers so far, where is the best place to go next?) But damn, this film has one HELL of a cast and I am so curious about it - I hope there are certain things switched up in the film adaptation.
Oh, I don't deny being a snob about some things, but Staten Island is not one of them. :)
I should have clarified. All I meant was that the subway did not extend to Staten Island since it has its own train, not that it wasn't an actual part of the city.
I'm curious if there are any other expansions planned aside from Second Street in Manhattan? It already has by far the most amount of subway stations of the 4 boroughs (yes, I know there are 5, but Staten does not count) and it's more of a hassle to find them in certain areas of Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. I…
"Sure they do."
Counterpoint: it does.
I don't know, have you seen the scene towards the end where he talks about the intricacies of lawsuits against large corporations in America?
I thought this was pretty fun. And Fallon did a good job at being half-Kel, half-Bill from "Bill & Ted".
Stephen only mocks you if he likes you. That is, if you're an audience member who asked him a question - not so sure about public figures…
The Berenstains said to Geisel, "Bear with us, we promise they'll sell!"
Although I'm seriously irritated that Amazon is saying my order of this and GO:OD AM "may take an extra 1-2 days to process", I am very, very excited to hear this.
An animated movie by Charlie Kaufman? Count me in.
Part of me can understand the whole crowdpleasing nature Fallon has, as I myself am conflict-averse. But with certain people who deserve it, you can't just capitulate to them or flatter them (I know I'd definitely probably try to piss people off who I didn't like if I had a talk show). Next Tuesday is going to be a…
Sung By The Movies did "Uptown Funk" a few months ago, and it was glorious.
I've said before this idea is fucking moronic, and the fact that it may very well become real has me creeped out. I get the whole sympathy dislike thing, but people usually like in sympathy now anyway when someone talks about having endured a death/illness/major problem, and…well, the article pretty much explained my…
Wait, did they take "The Office" off of Netflix?
Personally, I don't know if Swift has said anything as sharp as "if you were gonna say it in a pop song…couldn't you have at least written me a good one?"
His second album released on September 11. I'm not expecting it to be as good as "Rockin' the Suburbs", one of my favorite albums ever, but I eagerly await it in the mail today (on SUNDAY) coming from Amazon. I love "Capable of Anything".
