Well…good cast so far, at least. Plus, J.K. Simmons is rightly in-demand right now considering his performance in "Whiplash". I mean, you had no idea who that guy really was, he kept you guessing…but that's what made it so amazing.

Damn it, I fell asleep before the show started!

Oh, I understand. But that song, to me, recognizes and commemorates the sadly unusual times when you do have a wonderful day in the midst of a life rut, indefinitely extending problem or crisis, and those days are what motivate us to keep going when we start to think it's all gotten the better of us. I did not grow up

I've heard "It Was A Good Day" (NOT "Today Was A Good Day" - I know you guys didn't get the name wrong, but a lot of people do) has an ending where Cube stops abruptly and realizes the day never happened or that positivity is just pointless and dumb. I have never heard it, for I always stop the song a few seconds

Have you not seen Ice Cube's astounding new segment with Elmo?

If you fast forward to that part, you'll miss the far superior Jay-Z verse. Her verse there is solid, but I think it's a bit overrated - maybe it's because I cannot stand her voice in any iteration.

But no boobs on your back…

Yeah, I do think that was Holt's best moment in the episode. Although the genuine smile towards the end was a great moment too.

Wait, people count "Simpsons" canon after the 10th season?

Wait…no…what?

You are so smart.

Yay for your good day!

It sincerely irritates me that I didn't know "The Twilight Zone" reviews were back up.

There's a reason I didn't say "it". A very good reason.

It's CHEEZ! CHEEZ!

TWO A WEEK?

"You can't keep blaming yourself…just blame yourself once and move on!"

Upvoted for what you said about Common (he does still rap, but it's not like it's all that impressive anymore since Hollywood beckoned - I would have never thought it would have happened to him) and your skeptical hopes for this biopic to be good, because it doesn't look like we're getting "Memphis" anytime soon and

So I'm watching John Oliver's last "Last Week" segment and reading this article…and whenever I'm watching him and read something afterwards, I hear it in his voice. So that made this much more entertaining.

I have some skepticism and ambivalence, but not the rage most people in this thread seem to have. I figure we'll find out in…two and a half years. If Pixar gets back on its winning streak next year, I'll have more faith in this.
