Agree that you should start with what's being called "Season 1" of Doctor Who, the 2005 series. Disagree that it's the weakest. I thought Eccleston was AMAZING, and the darkness he brought to the role informs everything that's happened since.

This is one thing that I refuse to wait on the universe to deliver to me in its own sweet time. I don't get BBC America, either, and obviously don't have the Beeb itself. And yet I've seen this episode AND episode 2 already. I'll be watching ep 3 in just about 24 hours.
